Common Bonds – Oklahoma. Pets. People. Places.

We are excited to be a part of Common Bonds. The goal of Common Bonds is to increase the save rate for cats and dogs in Oklahoma animal shelters to 90% or greater by 2025.

“Oklahoma has made another top ten list, and not in a good way. According to the Pet Lifesaving Dashboard of Best Friends Animal Society’s No-Kill 2025 initiative, our state ranks 8th in the country for the number of cats and dogs euthanized in animal shelters.” – Common Bonds

Our Executive Director, Kim Schlittler, is co-chair of the Spay Neuter Working Group for Common Bonds. In this group, we are developing a statewide list of spay neuter clinics and programs for pet parents with limited income.
